Pork Lettuce Wraps
For a quick and filling meal, make these 7-ingredient Pork Lettuce Wraps!
Ingredients
- 1 head of butter lettuce
- 12 oz. ground pork
- 3 tsp. Sriracha
- 1 tbs. cilantro, chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced and separated whites from greens
- 2 oz. hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp. fresh ginger, chopped
Instructions
-
Separate the leaves of lettuce (and wash if not already pre-washed) and set aside on a plate.
-
Place a medium nonstick pan with 2 tsp. grapeseed (or other) oil over medium-high heat. Add ground pork to hot pan and stir occasionally, breaking up with a wooden spoon, until cooked through (8-10 minutes).
-
Add hoisin sauce, Sriracha (to taste), white portions of green onions and ginger to pan with pork. Stir occasionally until slightly thickened, 3-4 minutes. Remove from burner and season with a pinch of salt.
-
Put lettuce cups and pork mixture, topped with cilantro and green parts from green onion, on table. Assemble lettuce wraps by placing a few spoonfuls of pork mixture into lettuce cup and folding a bit like a burrito, then eating.
