We’re party people.
Are you a party person?
Do you enjoy getting together with others and celebrating? This may or may not involve consuming dips and eating sweet cake, as well.
Whether you’re a party of 1, 2 or 20, you’re going to need some good dips to have around.
I feel like some of the best parties start with a good dip and chip or cracker. It’s the perfect summer appetizer.
And you can make this one in advance.
Baba Ganoush is a smoky eggplant dip that sort of like a cousin of hummus.
If you’re into grilling, then you’re only a few steps away from some incredible “ganoush” as I’ve started to call it. If you’re not into grilling, then you could totally do this in the oven, too.
A charred outer eggplant yield slightly smoky, soft insides that come to life with some citrus, tahini, garlic, parsley and spices (smoked paprika being the star).
Even if you’re not a dip person (first off, is that possible?), then you can spread this on your favorite sandwich or even throw on top of a salad.
This Baba Ganoush is smooth, summer approved and ready to be mounded on your pita chip.
