Remember that last time when I made salsa and almost burnt down the apartment? Yeah, that was fun.
Well, this recipe will ensure that there is no chance of burning the kitchen down…because you don’t even have to cook anything.
I kind of love getting into spicy, Mexican comfort food during the winter. It warms you up and reminds you of times spent on the beach or with a pina colada.
This Salsa Verde could not be simpler. I mean it!
Go to your local Mexican grocery store (or any grocery store really) and buy a pound of tomatillos, a few serrano chiles and a big bunch of cilantro.
Then, combine all of those things with onion and garlic and blend until you have arrived at your perfect salsa consistency (it may need a little draining, too).
This salsa is perfect with chips, in enchiladas or quesadillas and it tastes great in your homemade guacamole!
