We all know that a part of eating healthy is not drinking sodas.
And if you didn’t know, sodas are full of high fructose sugar or lots of regular sugar that is not great to consume on a daily basis.
But, just because soda isn’t the best choice doesn’t mean that you have to go without some bubbles in your life.
I know that I love having something to look forward to during my 3 o’clock slump at my desk.
Bubbly drinks feels like celebration…and during these hot and sticky Southern summer days, you need something to cool you off. It’s a need!
That’s where my favorite Better than Sodas come in. I’ve selected three of my fave seltzer type drinks that are low on sugar (and other weird stuff) and full of flavor and bubbles.
1. Spindrift Grapefruit Seltzer
Although I somehow faked out a coworker into thinking that this was a beer that I was keeping in the work fridge, there’s nothing but seltzer and fruit juice in this guy. I pick these up at Trader Joe’s for $3-4 for a 4-pack.
2. Cucumber Dry Soda
You’ve probably heard me sing this soda’s praises on the blog before, and, guess what, I’m still hooked. I mean, who else makes a cucumber soda that’s so light and crisp? Hello, Cucumber G&T. I buy mine individually at Kroger for $1 each, but you can also buy them at Whole Foods.
3. Mango La Croix
You have probably already heard about this line of sparkling waters, but I’m new to them. I used to hate “fizzy water” as I used to call it, but when there’s a bit of fruit flavor mixed in, I’m all about it. I really love this Mango one from La Croix, which you can buy at Target for $3-4 for a 12-pack.
Whether you’re wanting a beverage to get you through your afternoon or you’re making a quick cocktail, these are all great choices.
Do you have a favorite sparkling water or seltzer?
