Simpler is better is a pretty good motto to hold onto these days.
Whether we’re talking about decorating or cooking, a lot of us strive to harness the power of simplicity.
I also strongly believe that this applies to fruit salad.
It’s pretty incredible how many ways you can mess up a fruit salad: mayonnaise (I can thank my sweet grandmother for introducing me to that one), maraschino cherries and mushy bananas to name just a few.
I have a no-fail Fruit Salad recipe that’s as simple as can be and tastes great on everything.
Chop your fruit (I like berries, melon and/or watermelon), place in a bowl and top with a few drizzles of honey, the juice of most of a lime and freshly chopped mint. Stir and enjoy!
And that’s all she wrote. Fruit salad demystified (and delicious).
