Today’s recipe could also go on your Oscar Noms list for this Sunday, and guess what, it’s a mocktail!
Usually I’m the type of person that is like why make a mocktail when you can make a cocktail, but since my sister has been pregnant, the world has opened my eyes to making mocktails.
I also recently had the most delicious “Mockturtle” mocktail at Garland in Raleigh that contained ginger, lime, vanilla and some sort of club soda or tonic water. It was delicious and refreshing (and cheaper than a cocktail).
This Ginger Lime Spritzer is quite similar, and it is basically a rejuvenating cup of health disguised as a party drink, as far as I’m concerned. It contains frozen ginger root that’s blended with water, combined with lime juice, tonic water and sweetened a bit if needed.
Could this drink get any simpler or more delicious? I think not.
If you’re a lover of all things ginger (and always keep some ginger root in your fridge) like I do, you just must try out this Ginger Lime Spritzer.
Cheers!
