Whether I’m working out or on a long drive, you can bet I’ve got a podcast rolling into my earbuds.
I used to hate when people “talked on the radio” when I was a kid…well that’s because it was Rush Limbaugh and he was yelling not talking.
But now that I’ve matured into an adult, I really love a fun hour of listening to a few people chat, talk about life and joke. And I love learning new little tidbits of knowledge.
Today, I’m sharing my top 3 podcasts with you and I hope that you’ll comment with your favorites, too!
This lovely little podcast features Joy of Joy the Baker and Tracy of Shutterbean, two powerhouses of food blogging. I enjoy listening to them chat about life, give advice to listeners and laugh with each other. These two are “majes” (aka besties aka best friends), so it’s fun to listen to them and pretend like you’re one of their friends, too.
I just recently found this podcast that will please lovers of food, cocktails, art, music and celebrities all at once. It’s set up like a dinner party with cocktail hour, ice breakers, music choices and main dishes but features awesome famous people (like Lord Grantham from Downton Abbey) who you get to learn more about.
I love NPR and I’ve been downloading this podcast and listening to it on road trips since my sister introduced me to it four or five years ago. It’s hilarious, keeps me up on my news knowledge and Paula Poundstone is a panelist half the time and she cracks me up! Listening to this podcast will make you feel educated along with giving you loads of laughs.
I know there are so many other great podcasts, but these are the few that I keep downloading week after week.
