Either way, I love getting a chance to spoil myself and the people I love with a special, warm and sweet breakfast on a cold day when you get a little extra time to treat yourself. And this is really great for any season.

When I bit into one of these pancakes it totally felt like I was eating a Kentucky Derby Pie or a Chocolate Pecan Pie. The toasted pecans are nutty and crunchy while the chocolate chips are melty and slightly sweet. And the butter and syrup on top…well, we all know about that magic.
