In this special edition of Random Acts of Foodness, I’m giving a little local love to some amazing companies that helped sponsor Arkansas Women Bloggers Unplugged, my first blogger conference that I just came back from! These sponsors stood out to me for their ability to influence communities, offer great products and give us some sweet swag (aka gifts). Please feel free to click on the links to give them some love on social media.
Airship Coffee– This coffee company is doing amazing things out of Bentonville to empower growers in Guatemala and other countries and provide some great coffee beans for Northwest Arkansas and beyond!

Arkansas Farm Bureau– If you’ve read my blog at any length, you know that I am a big fan of farmers and local eating, as is this company.

Biscoff Cookies– My appreciation for this company is probably obvious, considering my sweet tooth. Their cookies and cookie spread are delicious and this past weekend my group even got to use the spread in our Iron Chef dish (more info about this to come). I’m not sure if there’s a local connection with Biscoff, but I’ll give them some love!

Great Day Farms– I loved hearing the back story of this company and learning more about how they’re encouraging local produce in the state.

My Brother’s Salsa– The product that this Fayetteville-based company is putting out is really tasty, and as a chip and dip lover, I am all over it!

Natural State Wine– These guys are from Monticello and provided us with some tasty wine during the weekend.

Petit Jean Meats– Although I’m not a huge meat eater, if I’m going to pig out (get it?!) on some bacon or ham, Petit Jean is just about the best choice around! And they gave each of us a copy of BooMama’s book!
Visit Rogers– It was so cool to hear about how Rogers is connecting with bloggers to get the word out about the great things happening in their city.

Yarnell’s– Ever since I was a kid, I have adored the delicious taste and southern-inspired flavors (i.e. banana cream pie and blackberry cobbler) that this ice cream company offers. They even treated us to an ice cream break at the conference and I got to try some of their tasty frozen yogurt.

Please go and check out all of the other sponsors here. I also have to give a bunch of thanks to Arkansas Women Bloggers for hosting this wonderful event!
