Happy almost New Year!
2012 has been a fantastic year for me and for the Fruitful blog.
This year, Fruitful turned one and I feel like it’s come such a long way since the beginning. This year, I had one of my recipes featured on foodgawker. And this year, I came up with my own digital recipe cards to make cooking my recipes even easier for you (click here to see all of the recipe cards).
I am so thankful for all of you readers out there and I hope I can continue to provide you with more fun food stuff in 2013.

1. Let’s Do Brunch: Puffy Apple Pancake
Thanks to my recipe being listed on foodgawker, this one was a big hit!
2. Simple Saturday: Popcorn in a Bag
This year, I started the Simple Saturday series, providing you with super easy recipes and food ideas on the weekend. This one involves a paper bag and popcorn kernels and makes for a delicious snack.
3. Ice Cream AND Pie
I’m not surprised at all that the Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie made the top 5 list because it is one of the best ice cream/pie/chocolate/vanilla/peanut butter concoctions ever. And it’s a fantastic dessert on a hot summer day.
4. A Cup of Kindness
Warning: This post doesn’t have anything to do with food, just some of my thoughts about kindness.
5. Dinner Out: 28 Springs
This was a review of a new casual dining restaurant, 28 Springs, in Siloam Springs. I hope to be doing more restaurant reviews in 2013 as I continue eating around town!
