Today, we’re digging back in to some wonderful things that are coming out of my new beautiful home state of North Carolina.

And we’re talking about some tasty, out-of-this-world flavors of peanut butter.

As I started getting settled in my new town of Raleigh a few months ago, I kept seeing these little jars of well-branded peanut butter in unique flavors around.

I just had to know what they tasted like, so I bought one at Escazu one night.

The next day when I opened that jar and slathered the Peanut Almond Butter onto my slice of wheat toast was the day I became a fan of Big Spoon Roasters.

Their product (made in Durham, NC) is not only branded cleanly and well, but they’ve got a great product to market. This peanut butter is tasty and simply made with great products (nuts, wildflower honey and sea salt…and that’s basically it).

Although this nut butter is a splurge, it’s worth it for when you want a more decadent, tasty condiment for your toast, pancakes, crackers or spoon.

I can’t wait to try more of their flavors soon…Chai Spice and Cocoa Nib are at the top of my list.

You can find out more about Big Spoon and their story on their website, and you can buy a jar for yourself at one of many stores (like Whole Foods and Southern Season) in NC and other states in the US.
