The Banquet Table

Toady, I’m taking a break from my usual recipe/food talk for some real talk about life.

Life is great. I love waking up to birds singing in the morning, making new relationships some days and finding little ways to help others.

I really love writing and sharing recipes and ideas on this blog, but sometimes I wonder what’s it all for?

I’m currently not making any money off this blog and I don’t have a million followers or a Food Network TV Show.

But I really love what I do here and that I can share things that I care about and love with this online community. And I’m incredibly thankful that you’re a part of this community.

And my hope is that this blog helps you be a more positive, creative person and share the love of food and relationships with your loved ones or new friends or anyone, really.

But overall, I hope that this blog helps me use my God-given skills to share things that improve people’s lives.

I hope that this little website helps you appreciate what God has given all of us: a wonderful, beautiful world that’s full of colors, flavors and food that is delicious and grows from the ground! I’m still amazed by that.

And I really hope that my words and mission leads you to enjoy your days on this earth and think about what comes after those days. I look forward to spending my eternal days worshiping in heaven and sitting at the ginormous banquet table with people from all cultures and backgrounds.

Real talk: Following Christ has changed my life and totally changes how I view life, as well as life after death. And I hope that I can serve him with what I do on think fruitful.

For now, thank you for following and I hope that this blog is a place where you’re encouraged to live each day with fervor, passion and positivity, even if that just means making your family and friends a home-cooked meal or taking cookies to a new neighbor. Miracles can happen through food…hello, loaves and fishes.

So, I hope this post clears up a little more of why I’m here and I hope why you’re here and if you want to know more about that banquet table, email me (at gracecflack@gmail.com) and I would love to share!
