You just never know where you’ll find your next best recipe, do you?
It might be from one of your favorite food blogs. It might be inspired by something you see on TV. Or it could be ripped out of a magazine in your doctor’s waiting room.
It’s always a good idea to keep your eyes open for new food inspiration because you never know when it will strike.
Last weekend, recipe inspiration struck me when I followed a “Light & Fluffy” pancake recipe on the side of a Trader Joe’s flour bag. Yep- a $3 all-purpose flour bag lent me the recipe that made the most fluffy (as advertised), perfect and sweet Chocolate Chip Pancakes (I got the chocolate chip and almond extract idea on my own).
This pancake recipe is definitely going to stick around with our family for awhile. I love how these cakes got brown on the outside and absolutely cake-y on the inside.
These Choco Chip Pancakes are the epitome of dessert for breakfast…that’s absolutely acceptable!
Keep an eye out for your recipe inspiration and celebrate when it strikes!
