Today I’ve got some news and an awesome Super Bowl snack idea for you.
Two for one!
First, the news is that my apartment is turning into a box maze and my kitchen will be entirely packed up in a week because we’re moving to North Carolina!
My husband is going to be the lead 2D artist for Imangi Studios (they made Temple Run) and we are thrilled to be moving to a bigger city with more opportunities, more hush puppies, more Trader Joe’s and two very special members of my family (sister Abby and bro-in-law Mike).
We have been feeling for quite awhile that God had a move in our near future, so we are so excited to be landing in such a great place. So, look forward to my usual posts with some NC flavor and flare.
I love that just because I’m moving doesn’t mean that I have to say goodbye to all of you…because I hate goodbyes and I’m a crier.
Moving on, while I will be mostly kitchen-less for the Super Bowl, I’m not planning on making anything extraordinary but you absolutely should!
And this Skillet Spinach Artichoke Dip is easy to whip up and will be a crowd-pleaser because it has spinach and artichokes and cheese in it and you serve it in a fancy but not really fancy cast iron skillet. And it goes on chips and crunchy stuff, so that’s always a win.
Jason and I ate half of a skillet of this dip for New Year’s and it was delicious. Earthy, creamy and savory!
Field goal! (Forget it, I can’t do sports.)
