I stopped using pasta sauce from the jar about a year ago because it always seemed to just sit in the fridge and eventually go bad. And most jarred sauces have a lot of sugar and just don’t taste as good as homemade.
And Jason and I made many pretty good pasta sauces.
And then we found this recipe for the best pasta sauce. It only has three ingredients and all you do is throw them in a pot and let them simmer to Italian perfection.
It’s really that simple and the absolute best pasta sauce I’ve ever had…made just a touch better with a shave of fresh Parmesan and a side of kale.
